Lisnakill Ballroom Dancer “Salsa” (Warmblood x Irish Sporthorse)
Sire: Vancouver Park Cardeau (Carbine (Imp) x Shawlaw Mirror Tone)
Dam: Kirby Park Irish Jazz (Kirby Park Irish Jordan x Kirby Park Jeopardy)
“Salsa” is an impeccably bred athlete, destined for a successful eventing career. She has extreme movement and ideal conformation, with a bold and willing temperament. She has a very unique pedigree, crossing the elite Kirby Park (Irish Sporthorse) and Carbine (Hanovarian Warmblood) bloodlines. In addition to her international performance-based pedigree, Salsa also has an impressive show pedigree, featuring many Multi-Supreme Royal Champions, which presents through her exceptional good looks.
Salsa’s dam is by Kirby Park Irish Jordan (dec) – a sire of many high level eventers and brother of Kirby Park Irish Jester who won silver with Megan Jones at the 2008 Olympics. Salsa’s granddam was also a successful 3* eventer with Megan Jones.
Salsa’s sire Vancouver Park Cardeau is a pinto Multi-Royal Supreme Champion and medium-level dressage winner. VP Cardeau is out of Carbine (Imp), a successful imported black Hanovarian performance and show stallion, who is still the highest scoring colt at the AWHA licensing of all time. VP Cardeau’s dam is also a Multi-Royal Supreme Champion.
Salsa is maturing into a lovely young mare. We have high expectations of Salsa who will begin her eventing campaign within the next year or two.
